In 2003 , Molton Area 2000 (known as MA2K), under the chairmanship of Sue Sewell, working with the South West Regional Development Agency,  developed a strategic action plan for the development of South Molton which was issued in 2003.  This can be downloaded here or from the North Devon District Council (NDDC) site here.

NDDC  then issued a “Design and Development Brief for the Market and Central Car Park Area, South Molton” which was approved by full council in November 2004. This can be downloaded here or form the NDDC website here.

Following public consultation in 2009/2010 the original MA2K action plan was updated and reissued in February 2011.  This can be downloaded from my website here, or from the NDDC website here.

Strangely, when the NDDC website was revamped over Christmas 2014/2015, all these documents disappeared until I persuaded NDDC to put them back on!
